Marie Valera is an associate attorney in the firm’s Palm Beach County office. She concentrates her practice primarily on defending bodily injury claims.
Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies from William Paterson University in 2014 and received her Juris Doctor from New England Law Boston in 2018. During law school, she participated in the American Bar Association Client Counseling and Negotiation Competitions and completed internships with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the Middlesex Family & Probate Court. Marie gained valuable experience working as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm while attending college and law school.
Prior to joining WLC Marie practiced insurance defense with Florida law firms defending bodily injury and general liability claims. Marie is admitted to practice in Florida and Minnesota.
