Associate Attorney

Kristine DeSoiza is an Associate Attorney at WLC. She routinely handles insurance coverage disputes, first party medical claims, and complex pre-suit matters. 

 

Kristine attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. In 2017, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shephard Broad College of Law, graduating Cum Laude. As a prior Committee Member of the Florida Bar’s Law Related Education Committee, Kristine co-authored the Florida High School Mock Trial and Florida High School Moot Court case programs and assisted with the succeeding statewide competitions. While in law school, Kristine was a Teaching and Research Assistant in Constitutional and International Law and a Research Assistant in Family and Juvenile Law. She served as President of the NSU Trial Association and was a member and Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review.

 

Prior to joining WLC, Kristine worked for insurance defense firms in South Florida handling coverage and construction defect matters in both state and federal courts.  Kristine is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Kristine is also a member of the Justice Major B. Harding American Inns of Court.

 

When not practicing law, she is a devout Florida Gators fan and her favorite companions are her “dog sons.”
