In 2008, Anthony Stella graduated magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Nova Law Review and as board member and competitor for Nova’s Moot Court Society. He was also the recipient of the SBA Award for Academic Excellence, a Merit Scholarship Recipient, and was on the Dean’s List for every one of his academic semesters. After law school, Anthony began his career as a judicial law clerk at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. Anthony subsequently entered private practice in the area of civil litigation and appeals, working for international and national law firms, as well as the appellate and litigation support attorney for a prominent plaintiff’s firm. Anthony then continued his civil litigation practice as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of West Palm Beach, where, for over six years, Anthony defended and prosecuted claims on behalf of the City in both state and federal court and before both trial and appellate courts. Before joining Williams, Leininger & Cosby, P.A., Anthony also served as an Attorney Advisor to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Anthony is now a member of the insurance coverage and appellate practice group where he practices in all facets of civil litigation and appeals on behalf of the firm’s clients.
