PREMISES LIABILITY

Williams, Leininger & Cosby, P.A. frequently defends clients in premises liability claims arising out of accidents in public areas including restaurants, parking lots, stores, sidewalks, playgrounds, and construction sites. WLC handles claims of negligent design, maintenance, or security. We aggressively challenge the allegations of negligence and cause. We pursue affirmative defenses that place responsibility on the claimant. We also search for opportunities to shift liability pursuant to contract provisions such as indemnification and duty to defend.

WLC assigns attorneys with significant trial experience to defend premises liability lawsuits. WLC vigorously pursues dispositive motions, such as summary judgment, but is prepared to try the case to verdict. WLC also has experience in successfully defending premises liability lawsuits on appeal.
