Lee J. Baggett



Lee J. Baggett graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. After working with State Farm Insurance Company as a claims adjuster and an agency specialist, he graduated from Nova Southeastern University, cum laude, with a Juris Doctorate degree, in December of 2000. After several years with the Law Offices of Lewis, Mortell, Lewis and Baggett, he joined Williams, Leininger & Cosby, P.A. in 2012. He is an experienced litigator who has tried several cases in state and federal courts throughout Florida.

Mr. Baggett focuses his practice primarily in Personal Injury law, which includes motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents and product liability cases. In addition, he handles employment law cases, including wage and hour disputes, non-compete agreement disputes, employment discrimination, disputes under COBRA/ERISA and whistleblower/Qui Tam cases under the False Claims Act. He is also experienced in handling Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income claims under the Social Security Administration.

Mr. Baggett is a member of the Florida Bar; the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida; the Martin County Bar Association; the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association; and the Martin County Inns of Court. He served as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Stuart and was on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association for Palm Beach Atlantic University.
